There are over 850 individual titles in this useful book collection. They give an overview (short introduction) into many different topics, ranging from law, religion, politics, to social sciences, medicine, and health. If you don’t know much about a topic or want to review what you do know, this is the set for you!

These do not try to give you everything you need to know but an overview and simple introduction to complex topics such as: World War II, Faith, Pandemics. They are updated fairly often. Do check the publication date if you are looking for an ongoing or current event. Many of the books have a further reading section at the end with a list of titles to help you do more research.

These are titles to use when you start research to help you get a grasp on a topic. This collection can be found on our ebook page under Reference or by searching Primo for Very Short Introductions.
