Graduate Students

This guide has some tips for graduate students that may differ from undergraduates.

Ask for Help!

  • finding resources
  • using databases
  • creating bibliographies
  • using the library
  • doing research

We'd like to help AUP students, faculty, staff and alumni find what you need.  You can try our Research Help page first if we are not readily available.

Thesis Guidelines and Tips

The library keeps a bound copy of your thesis and puts a copy online!  You need to make sure you follow the instructions so that yours will be accepted without problems.  When in doubt, ask!

Call the library 01 40 62 05 61 and make an appointment to come by and talk with Library Administration about your thesis presentation standards (the bound copy - numbering pages, blank pages, table of contents, headings, etc. and that the electronic copy is 'active' or able to be copied and pasted instead of one large photo file.)

We want to make it as easy as possible while following the University's standards and we're happy to help you go over the details - preferably BEFORE you have it bound!
