Libby is a platform that gives you access to leisure reading.
Read or listen via the Libby App or on the website.
AUP students, faculty and staff members.
Sign in with your AUP credentials to borrow any titles.
- Check out 2 titles at a time
- Borrow Ebooks and Audiobooks up to 21 days (if you finish before you can return the title before)
- Place up to 2 holds on titles that are currently checked out
Find a selection of titles as in audiobooks or ebooks version.
All titles has different access methods.
Some titles can be checked out by simultaneous users, others only allow one user at a time, you may need to place a hold to be the next person to read it.
While searching for a title when you cannot find the one you are looking for, click on the filter icon on the top left corner , and select deep search. the number of titles in the search result will get bigger.
From this list, if you find a title that you would like to read click on notify me. A request will be sent to the library.
If the library decides to acquire it, you will receive a direct notification.
Please be aware that tagging a title with Notify me doesn't guarantee that the library will acquire the title.
We would also like to let you know that the request are anonymous, so if you want to have access to an ebook or an audiobook you can always send us an email at library@aup.edu and let us know why you want/need this title.
To read or listen a title directly from your phone, you can download the Libby by Overdrive App on your device.
In Libby App under "find your library" search for The American University of Paris.
Add a library card and sign in with your AUP credentials.
You are now ready to borrow titles
If you already have access to Libby from another library, you can add another account in Libby.
To add a library card to Libby, tap Menu () , then "Add Library" or "Manage Cards" links. Tap Add Another Card.
