From Citation to Fulltext
Many databases provide citations and abstracts but do not feature articles in 'fulltext' format. In order to locate the fulltext of articles you find, you can:
- Go to Browse Journals (in the left column marked Popular Links). Type in the JOURNAL TITLE
(not article title or author) and if the library has the journal in either print,
online or a database the results will come up. Remember to search by publication title.
- If not found in the AUP Library collection, check CCFR (French libraries) and Sudoc (French university libraries only)
to locate the title in other Paris libraries (if unfamiliar with these tools, ask for help at the Service Desk).
If the title is available locally, you may be able to photocopy it in that library.
- If not found in the above indexes, fill out a Document Delivery request online or go the Service Desk and ask them for a paper form.
The library cannot guarantee how long it will take to locate this material but articles normally come fairly quickly
(it can take as little as 1 day or as long as 3 weeks).
