As one of AUP's main student services, the library offers a variety of resources and professional help to the students, staff and faculty of AUP.The American University of Paris Library has:
over 72,900 book volumes over 159,000 electronic books over 1900 films (DVD and video) over 300 CDs (music and other) housed in over 7,300 feet of shelving over 40,000 periodical titles available in print or electronic format in 4 reading and study areas with Wi-Fi access. over 100 seats for the over 1,200 people who borrow over 21,000 books and films per year, and use the 22 research workstations and 3 catalog devoted workstations and 2 film viewing stations during the 7 days of the week or 62.5 hours per week that the Library is open; plus 27 Study Hours per week between midterms and final exams; plus the 32 overnight hours at the end of the semester unlimited hours of remote access to library resources and services available through the web page!
Since the University Library is not open to the general public, it is important to carry your valid AUP ID at all times to identify yourself.
Reference librarians are available to assist with research and can provide information concerning additional resources in Paris. Ask for assistance at the Service Desk or check the Library's homepage for how to get research help and contact information.
