  • When purchasing access to an electronic resource, The American University of Paris Library signs a license agreement with the vendor. 

    • Off-campus access: the license requires to restrict off-campus access to permitted users. Those users comprise currently enrolled AUP students and currently employed AUP faculty or staff. 

    • Campus access: occasional users may access those services through terminals physically located at AUP.

  • International or French copyright laws protect the articles and citations provided through those electronic resources. Unauthorized use includes: 

    • Utilizing the online resources for commercial purposes

    • Downloading or printing entire issues of any journal.
